Tic-Tac-Toe – Movement Break

Tic-Tac-Toe is a playful competition suitable for waiting moments as a movement break. The game can easily be adapted from paper to a floor version, making it a physical activity. The challenge can be increased, for example, by adding a throwing distance or a movement before the throw, such as running from the other side of the space. Tic-Tac-Toe can be played with a pair facing each other or pairs competing against each other.

Game instructions:

  • Create a Tic-Tac-Toe grid on the floor.
  • Use five beanbags of two different colors for Xs and Os, for example, red and blue.
  • Teams take turns throwing their colored beanbag into the grid, aiming to get a straight line vertically, horizontally, or diagonally.
