Ball play with a partner exercises are done in pairs using two balls. A basketball or another similarly bouncy ball is recommended.

Roll and Catch

  • Stand opposite your partner at a suitable distance.
  • Both partners have a ball.
  • Roll the ball along the floor to your partner at the same time and catch the ball rolled by your partner.
  • Mark the rolling spots with cones to help visualize your position.

Roll, Move, and Catch

  • Stand opposite your partner so that your partner is slightly diagonally ahead at a suitable distance.
  • Both partners have a ball.
  • Roll the ball straight forward along the floor to your partner, while your partner rolls their ball straight forward as well.
  • Move sideways to catch the ball rolled by your partner.

Throw the Ball in the Air and Catch Your Partner’s Ball

  • Stand opposite your partner, slightly diagonally at a short distance.
  • Both partners have a ball.
  • Throw the balls into the air at the same time and move sideways to catch your partner’s ball.
  • It is useful to mark the throwing spots with cones to help visualize the position.
