Poisonous Mushroom

Poisonous Mushroom is a game in which children practice recognizing letters or numbers. The collector’s task is to touch the letters or numbers one by one while the others say them aloud.

Instructions

  • One child leaves the room for a moment, and the other children, together with an adult, agree on one letter or number that is “poisonous mushroom”.
  • The collector returns to the room and begins to touch the letters or numbers one by one. The others repeat out loud the letter or number that the collector touches.
  • When the collector touches the toadstool, the others shout “POISONOUS MUSHROOM!” and run away. The collector tries to catch someone.
  • The child who is caught acts as the collector in the next round.
